The Carolina Panthers have held their training camp at Wofford College’s Gibbs Stadium every summer since their inaugural season in 1995. Thanks to the school’s 60,000-square-foot Richardson Physical Activities Building—one of the NFL’s finest training facilities—our community is able to help host the team as they prepare for their upcoming season.
The Panthers begin each training camp in late-July/early-August with a kickoff party hosted in the late afternoon which is promptly followed by a practice game. Over the following two weeks, join in the fun as the team participates in near-daily practices, hosts special events like Fan Fest, and inspires special fan promotions at local businesses.
All practices and fan activities at the training camp are free and open to the public, so be sure to plan your visit to attend one of the top five training camps for fan friendliness according to Peter King of Sports Illustrated.
