This holiday season, our local boutiques, arts collectives, resident makers, and craft markets are the perfect places to find unique gifts for your loved ones. Find these goodies and more at the many upcoming Holiday markets throughout the County.

Dec. 2: The 31st Annual Dickens of a Christmas (6-9 PM)

  • Spartanburg’s annual Victorian-era Christmas event, Dickens of a Christmas, will take over Downtown Spartanburg. The annual holiday extravaganza will surely get any Scrooge in the festive spirit with the traditional tree-lighting, live performances, local vendor stands, a Christmas market, and more.

Dec. 4: Light Up Landrum Christmas Parade & Stroll (6-7 PM)

  • Nestled in the shadow of the Blue Ridge mountains, Landrum will bring the holiday spirit, complete with 127 lit floats, during its Christmas Parade and Stroll.

Woodruff Christmas Events

The City of Woodruff is hosting several Christmastime events in its downtown this year, including nightly photos with Santa at the McKinney Park entrance at 5:30 PM, and Christmas lights nightly throughout McKinney Park.

Dec. 6: Fretwell Winter Market (9 AM-1 PM)

  • The final Fretwell Market of 2025 will showcase local, handmade goods, artisan crafts, and more just off the Mary Black Rail Trail.

Dec. 6: Mistletoe Market at Mayfair Art Studios (10AM – 5PM)

  • Browse local and regional artists’ wares in this historic-mill-turned-studios, with resident creative studios open for visitors and two stories of vendor booths. Artists showcasing their work specialize in: stained glass, paint, jewelry, mixed-media, ceramics, and more.

Dec. 9: The Spartanburg Jaycees Christmas Parade (6:30 PM)

  • Enjoy the magic of Christmas with the Spartanburg community at the annual Jaycees Christmas Parade, featuring twinkling lights and cheerful floats traveling the streets of Downtown Spartanburg. This time-honored tradition supports the Spartanburg Jaycees’ work with sponsors and participants to give back to the community.

Dec. 11: Imagination Station’s Night Before Christmas (5-8PM)

  • You’re invited to a special Night Before Christmas holiday soirée at Imagination Station! Bring the whole family for an evening of Christmas magic with festive story time, holiday crafts, a Jellycat raffle giveaway, cookie decorating with Sugah Cakes, warm drinks from Grumpy Goose, a special chance to peek at Santa’s Nice List, after hours shopping, and more!

Dec. 12-14: Ballet Spartanburg’s “The Nutcracker” with the Spartanburg Philharmonic

  • The Spartanburg Philharmonic and Ballet Spartanburg have brought the delightful story of Clara and her adventures on Christmas Even to life for 35 years. This year, the performances are set to include new costumes, new choreography, and enchanting, holiday-season surprises.

Dec. 13: Christmas Market at Drayton (12 – 5PM)

  • Shop local artisans’ inspired creations right before the holidays! Get your last-minute gifts, hot cocoa, and bring the whole family for Christmas themed activities.

Dec. 13: Pharmacy Holiday Art Markets (10AM – 2PM)

  • Pharmacy Coffee, inside the historic Montgomery Building, will host this market featuring 14 local creatives and makers. Don’t forget to grab one of Pharmacy’s expertly-crafted coffee drinks while you browse!

Dec. 13: The Reidville Christmas Parade & Rockin’ Around Festival

  • The Town of Reidville doubles its dose of holiday cheer on Dec. 13 with a holiday festival from 11 AM-3 PM followed by its annual Christmas parade from 3-4:30 PM.

Dec. 16: ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas l Cookies & Cocoa with Santa  (6 – 8PM)

  • This event, hosted by Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas, helps to make the season a little brighter for children and families in our community. Enjoy cookies, cocoa, and photos with Santa, and bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to spread holiday cheer to those who need it the most.

Dec. 18: Holiday Sip & Shop in Downtown Spartanburg (5-7 PM)

  • After a popular first event in November, the Holiday Sip & Shop returns to Downtown Spartanburg on Dec. 18 for anyone looking to get those last-minute gifts or just to enjoy a holiday-themed night out.
