Going meatless? Eating a vegetarian or vegan diet has never been easier or more delicious.
As these lifestyles grow in popularity, restaurants are starting to add more meat- and dairy-free menu items that are actually exciting, filling, and nutritious (unlike that plain ol’ garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette you’ve probably been ordering for years).
So, whether you’re craving savory cheeseburger, want to satisfy your sweet tooth with an artisan donut, or need to rehydrate with some fresh-pressed juice, Spartanburg has got you covered with vegan and vegetarian options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between!

Socially conscious vegans rejoice, because not only is Health in Hand almost completely devoid of animal-based products (the only non-vegan item on their menu is local honey, which can always be swapped for agave), but they also strive to be completely zero-waste!
Get in a couple servings of fruit with a delicious smoothie or smoothie bowl, refuel with a wholesome bowl of overnight oats or veggie-packed wrap, and wash it all down with invigorating fresh-pressed juices like the Turmeric Sunrise or Coco Loco and feel great about what you’re putting into your body.

Made with a creamy coconut milk base and global ingredients like bamboo shoots, peanuts, chili pepper, and basil, all of the classic curry dishes at this Thai fusion restaurant are vegan and can be filled out with additional veggies or topped-off with tofu. Plus—as is tradition for Thai restaurants—each of these dishes can be prepared to your preferred level of spiciness, so you can either keep it light and enjoy the night, or crank up the heat for a kick while you eat.
A brick-and-mortar spinoff of one of our area’s most beloved food trucks, The Eatery now offers a separate, fully-vegan menu complete with robust grain bowls, signature salads, mouthwatering tacos, and more!

Opt for the house pickle plate for a tart start, the cornbread and sorghum butter for a savory snack, or the biscuits and jam for a little pre-dinner sweet treat.
