Inman, a quaint, welcoming town in the northern part of Spartanburg County is growing thanks to new investments and population growth coming to the entire county.

Ahead of Inman’s inclusion on the Saluda Grade Rail Trail, check out this guide to everything there is to do, see, and taste in the town of Inman.


Unique Gifts

The Maker’s Market is a one-of-a-kind stop offering selling artisan gifts from small businesses in the area. Also serving as an art studio, the market hosts creative art classes teaching everything from canvas painting to ceramics.

Carrying on trend clothing items with a small-town feel shopping experience, Gracie’s Boutique provides all outfit necessities from tops, dresses, to shoes and accessories.

Vintage Restore and More is a specialty home décor shop focused on recreating and upcycling old forgotten treasures. They also offer unique crafting classes periodically. Past offerings include creating pet portraits and a centerpiece box for home décor.

Beer and Wine

Peach Rail Tavern and Hatchet House has a laid back and fun atmosphere. The hidden gem sports bar has nine lanes of ace throwing, ping pong and more along with delicious beer.

Holliday Brewing offers not only award-winning beers and smash burgers and wings, but also operates as a large event space. They also host weekly music bingo, trivia, and a road bike club.

Grab a Bite

Inman House of Pizza is a family owned and operated Greek and Italian restaurant off Asheville Highway. This restaurant remains a local favorite with the standout menu items including the Stromboli and Greek salad.

Mulligans Neighborhood Bar and Grille is located inside Village Green’s Golf Club. Providing a full bar and menu, Inman has used Mulligan’s as a spot to have local events and host live music.

Pamper Yourself

Visit Med Spa on Mill Street for medical spa services including microneedling, microblading and eyelash extensions. This business has been serving the upstate for over 40 years, including staff with medical experience, esthetician and cosmetology training.

Right next store to the Med Spa, Pink Salon & Extension Studio provides upscale haircuts, in addition to styling services and specially made natural hair extensions.  The salon also provides event styling options, including makeup and hair.

Don’t exclude your furry friends on a luxury haircut. A Tie-Dyed Dog Grooming Salon LLC. provides a luxurious grooming experience for pets in the upstate. Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance and a wagging tail here is equivalent to a five-star review!

Outdoor

Owned by Inman Mills, Inman Mills Park is complete with Jim Everhart Field for baseball and softball field, outdoor basketball court, picnic shelter and playground.

Leroy Mathis park is right near the heart of downtown, including outdoor exercise equipment, playground, a picnic shelter and trails. The City often uses Leroy Mathis Park community events.

For those with more time to spend outdoors, Lake Colley Park and Outdoor Education Center provides a fun stop on the lake for visitors of all ages. The center has a boat ramp, dock and fishing pier and playground. In the summer months, visitors can rent paddle boards and kayaks.

One-of-a-kind Experiences

Great Escapes provides a family-friendly escape room experience for children and families.The business provides two unique escape room offerings, rotating out with the season.

If you visit Inman in the spring or summer months, stop by Music on Mill. Located in Inman’s Mill Street Pavilion, the outdoor venue is a great way to listen to some free music and enjoy historic downtown Inman.

Walking into Kempson Rexall Drugs is a blast from the past. This drug store in downtown Inman has an old-fashioned soda fountain and sells delicious ice cream sundaes and milkshakes. In addition to functioning as a family-owned pharmacy, Kempson Rexall also sells meal items and gifts, encapsulating the small-town charm of this hidden gem.
