CMS has commissioned over 160 works from an impressive array of composers including George Crumb, Leonard Bernstein, William Bolcom, Darius Milhaud, and many more. The group offers an extraordinary number of opportunities in educational outreach annually, and its frequent appearances on PBS’ “Live from Lincoln Center” and NPR’s “Performance Today” have been experienced by millions of Americans.
