Sure, you can crack open an ice cold beer, pour a nice glass of wine, or mix up a drink yourself, but sometimes life just calls for something a little more special—especially if you're away from home on a little getaway and want to enjoy food, drinks, and experiences you can't quite find anywhere else. If you're looking for thoughtfully crafted drinks in the Spartanburg area, these local favorites should be at the top of your list.

Fratello's

Get a little taste of Italy right here at home! Fratello's is an Italian trattoria that serves NYC style pizza and classic Italian cocktails like Negronis and Bellinis, not to mention their specialty Tiramisu Caketail. We totally get why their slogan is, "Locally sourced x crafted with love." Hot pizza and cold cocktails? Fuggetaboutit—we're already there!

The Kennedy

If you're looking for somewhere with a little more of an elegant feel, The Kennedy is certainly an excellent option. Touting superior quality ingredients and exceptional service, this Art Deco inspired restaurant serves up artfully crafted cocktails flavored with exotic ingredients like smoked rosemary coupee, spice cherry bitters, and fresno hot sauce. Our interest has been piqued, how about yours?

Level 10

Treat yourself to a drink with a view at Level 10 atop the AC Hotel Spartanburg. In addition to its extensive European-inspired food and handcrafted drink offerings, this Rick Erwin Dining Group restaurant features multiple open-air seating areas beautifully accessorized with fire pits and trellises against the backdrop of the Spartanburg cityscape. We have our cameras on and ready for that sunset snapshot!

Southside Smokehouse

Cocktails not your thing? Well you're in luck! In addition to their list of ever-changing specialty cocktails, Landrum's Southside Smokehouse also has an excellent selection of craft beers—both in the bottle and on tap—and a vast wine menu. Oh, and did we mention it's also run by South Carolina Chef Ambassador Sarah McClure?

Hub City Scoops

Looking for something non-alcoholic? Not to worry! Hub City Scoops serves up old-fashioned milkshakes, malts, and floats that will satisfy any sweet tooth while bringing back sweet memories of the good ol' days. Or you can opt for a totally unique experience and order a flight of ice creams! Talk about a cherry on top!

Whether you're a tourist or just a local playing one for the weekend, we'd like to remind you not to drink and drive. Everyone deserves to indulge every now and again, but if you just so happen to overdo it on the chocolate liqueur or even the chocolate sauce, we'd love to have you rest, relax, and recover in one of our local hotels, bed and breakfasts, or even a campground. If you're planning a visit in advance, be sure to take advantage of one of our Spartanburg Special Package Deals!
