With the Chinquapin Creek running through it, the 36 acre Upper Chinquapin Greenway is a wonderful place for a walk with 1.6 miles of hiking trails and a diverse strand of ferns and hardwoods, including longleaf pine trees. Directions: From 585, take the California Avebue exit. The preserve is located on the frontage road across 585 from Milliken Research Center.
