Santee Cooper Public Dove Field

A 15 acre field located at the end of Hatchett Drive off Goldmine Rd approximately 4.3 miles north of the intersection of US Highway 176 and West Main Street near Pacolet. It is owned by the Sante Cooper Public Service authority but is leased by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources as a wildlife management area. Hunters utilizing this dove field must have a valid hunting license, wildlife management area permit and migratory bird permit. Other game species can be hunted during the regular Game Zone 2 Season. Additional activities suck as wildlife viewing and hiking are permitted year round.
