Located in historic Glendale, Glendale Shoals Preserve follows Lawson's Fork Creek and is 13 acres of scenic property, with a waterfall that cascades over a dam, and significant plant, animal and bird life. Walk across the shoals and skip some rocks, or have a picnic in the meadow and enjoy the view. Directions: From East Main St., take Fernwood Glendale Rd. Take a right on Clifton-Glendale Rd. Turn left on Emma Cudd Rd and the parking area is immediately to your left beside the old iron bridge. The preserve starts just below the dam. |
