A common theme voiced by Spartanburg residents and visitors is the fact that there is more to see and do than ever before. Thus, Spartanburg has gained recognition as a great place to host conferences, conventions, business functions, reunions and other gatherings. After all, what good is work if you can’t mix in a little pleasure?

Imagine finishing your day by enjoying a scrumptious dish of Strawberries Napoleon at Chandi’s Bistro, or having a relaxing workout in the Spartanburg Marriott at Renaissance Park, a cooling dip in the Radisson’s indoor pool, or enjoying drinks and dinner al fresco at one of Summit Pointe’s fine restaurants.

“We have come a long way in a short period of time in terms of what we have to offer visitors to our community,” says Jules Bryant, Executive Director of the Spartanburg Convention and Visitors Bureau. “With the addition of full-service hotels, fine dining restaurants and a wide range of activities, Spartanburg is ready and able to accommodate groups and gatherings of any size.”

Getting to Spartanburg is easier and more economical than it has ever been. The community is served by the GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (GSP), as well as the SPARTANBURG DOWTOWN MEMORIAL AIRPORT. GSP is serviced by a variety of major carriers and offers daily flights to and from cities throughout the country. The downtown airport caters to corporate and private planes for quick and easy access in and out of Spartanburg.
