Walnut Grove Plantation, listed on the National Register, contains the original late 1760’s Manor House, the Rocky Springs Academy, kitchen and numerous other outbuildings, a nature trail that leads to the Moore family cemetery, and a covered picnic area. Furnishings portray living conditions in Spartanburg County prior to 1800.
